From an ancient tradition of processing cocoa mass with sugar mixed at low temperatures, Modica chocolate has become world famous, even gaining I.G.P. recognition.
Its special grainy texture makes it a unique chocolate with an old-fashioned flavor, in which the pungent flavor of cocoa is perceived, combined with grains of sugar. Cocoa and sugar, processed according to tradition, to obtain a chocolate with 60 percent cocoa. Gluten-free, no added fat, lecithin-free, lactose-free, high fiber content.
Enjoy on its own, paired with dessert wines such as Moscato and Passito, but also with pure spirits, such as grappa. Excellent in dessert preparations or with ice cream.
